Services and Rates
At the Center for Relational & Child Therapy, I help children, families, and individuals build stronger connections, find balance, and grow in meaningful ways. My approach focuses on supporting emotional well-being, strengthening relationships, and providing practical tools tailored to your unique needs.
Families
Families come in all shapes and sizes, and so do the dynamics that shape them. My family therapy services focus on enhancing communication, resolving conflicts, and strengthening bonds to foster a more connected and supportive family unit. I support families through difficult transitions such as communication issues, grief, challenging medical diagnoses, divorce, and estrangement, using tailored approaches that honor each member’s unique role. Together, we will build a harmonious family environment where everyone feels heard and supported, regardless of their age or relationship dynamics.
For families with children and adolescents, I blend experiential techniques such as Emotionally Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), the Satir model, and Play Therapy grounded in child development. These methods encourage natural, engaging communication, making it easier for young family members to express themselves to their parents or older family members.
For families navigating attachment injuries, relational trauma, or long-standing patterns of emotional disconnection, I also integrate EMDR. EMDR can be used within a family framework to address attachment wounds, process relational trauma, and reduce the emotional intensity that fuels conflict, helping family members respond to one another with greater safety and connection
Kids and Teens
I offer specialized therapeutic support for children and adolescents, providing a safe space for them to express their emotions, build resilience, and overcome challenges such as anxiety, panic attacks, depression, trauma, and life transitions like divorce, loss of a loved one, and changes in school. My approach is experiential and tailored to meet the unique needs of each age group.
For children under 12, I use activities like play and art therapy to help them explore their feelings, develop coping skills, and build self-esteem. Through play, children can often communicate emotions they may struggle to articulate verbally, allowing them to identify and express their feelings in a safe, supportive environment.
For adolescents, I recognize the unique challenges that arise during this pivotal stage of development, including anxiety, self-esteem issues, and social pressures. I integrate various therapeutic techniques, including art, hands-on activities, to create an engaging environment where teens can explore their feelings and express themselves more freely.
Developmentally appropriate EMDR when appropriate.
Individuals
Individual therapy provides a space to explore your thoughts, emotions, and life experiences, with an emphasis on family of origin influences that shape how you relate to yourself and others.
Using attachment-focused approaches, relational techniques, EMDR, and experiential methods like parts work and somatic therapy, I help you bring awareness to what’s happening in your body and truly FEEL your emotions, not just rationalize or verbalize them. This approach supports processing past experiences, strengthening emotional resilience, and building healthier connections with yourself and the people in your life.
